You may now rapidly crop and share by using Circle to Search

Google revealed at Made by Google 2024 a new Circle to Search feature that allows you to share the content you’ve selected. This feature is now being rolled out.

Following the activation of Circle for Search and lassoing, the Android system sheet appears when you click the new “Share” button above your selection. It’s a quick method to share with others what you’ve circled. It’s not saved to your device, unlike screenshots that you might need to crop before sharing.

Nevertheless, you can use the share sheet to save to Google Keep or upload to Google Photos. This works well for larger images, but you’re better off downloading the image because smaller saves don’t have very great resolution.
