Rashmika Mandanna claimed she was offered a movie part after winning a beauty pageant, but she blocked the call because she assumed it was a prank.
On April 5, Rashmika Mandanna will age 27. In a previous interview, the actress, who was most recently seen in the Tamil film Varisu, discussed her acting debut and how she almost decided against joining the industry because she believed the first offer she received was a joke. Rashmika remembered being offered a starring role after winning a beauty pageant, but she blocked the number because she assumed it was a prank call.
The filmmakers allegedly attempted to reach Rashmika through acquaintances before attempting to do so through a teacher after she blocked the number. They made an effort to get in touch with me through all of their connections because they genuinely wanted to meet me, she said. My class teacher was eventually called.” Rashmika claimed that with the teacher’s help, she eventually managed to meet the director, who she informed of her lack of acting skills. She was chosen for the part, though, after the filmmakers filmed a few scenes of conversation.
Rashmika made her Bollywood début with Goodbye last year. She is best known for her part in the Telugu film Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Neena Gupta and Amitabh Bachchan were also in the movie. Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta, Shivin Narang, Shayank Shukla, and Arun Bali played supporting parts in the Vikas Bahl-directed movie, which also had Ekta Kapoor’s support.
