Y-series phone Vivo is developing, called the Vivo Y200e 5G, according to recent reports. With the device’s approval by India’s BIS certification platform and its recent sighting at the Bluetooth SIG certification, it looks like an imminent launch is in store for the nation.
BIS-certified Vivo Y200e 5G
In the database of the BIS certification platform, a Vivo phone with model number V2336 has surfaced. The marketing name of the V2336 will be Vivo Y200e 5G, according to the previously seen Bluetooth SIG listing.
Remarkably, the Vivo Y200e 5G seems to be a rebranded Vivo Y100 5G, which was just released in Indonesia. This is because, according to the Google Supported Devices list (which is displayed below), the V2327 and V2336 have been determined to be identical devices.
Thus, the Vivo Y200e 5G might include a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of RAM, and more. In addition to a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, it will feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 14 based on FunTouch OS 14 and features an under-display fingerprint scanner.
There are three distinct Y100 5G phones, which readers should be aware of. The first one was unveiled in India last year and featured the Dimensity 900. The second is the Chinese version, which made its debut last year and is outfitted with the Snapdragon 695. Recently released in Indonesia, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2-powered Y100 5G is making its way to Malaysia and other Asian markets. It is anticipated that this third version will become the Vivo Y200e 5G.
