On Tuesday, March 12, the Vivo Y03 was introduced in Indonesia. After being unveiled in India in December 2022, the Vivo Y02 is its successor. The company has not yet confirmed whether the new phone will be launched in India, but it does have a number of upgrades. Two RAM and storage configurations, along with two color options, are available for the Vivo Y03. In addition to having two rear cameras, it supports wired Flash Charging.
Cost & Availability of Vivo Y03
The Vivo Y03 is available in Gem Green and Space Black (which is Indonesian for “black”) color options. The 4GB + 64GB model is priced at IDR 1,299,000 (about Rs. 6,900), while the 4GB + 128GB option is priced at IDR 1,499,000 (about Rs. 8,000). Vivo’s official e-store allows customers in Indonesia to purchase it.
Vivo Y03 features and specifications
A 6.56-inch LCD HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels) screen with a pixel density of 269ppi and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz is featured on the Vivo Y03. With a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM—virtually expandable up to 4GB—it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Moreover, the phone has up to 128GB of built-in eMMC 5.1 storage. FuntouchOS 14, an Android 14-based operating system, comes pre-installed.
The Vivo Y03 has a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a QVGA camera, and an LED flash unit on the back when it comes to cameras. With a 5-megapixel sensor, the front camera is located inside the top of the display in the center of a waterdrop notch.
Similar to its previous model, the Vivo Y03 has a 5,000mAh battery, but it now has USB Type-C port support for 15W wired charging. Aside from 4G LTE, it also has support for WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. The phone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the side for security. Along with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, it also has a 3.5mm audio jack. At 163.78 x 75.73 x 8.39 mm, the handset has a weight of 185g.
