Up-And-Coming Reggae Band Free Mace’s Brand-New Album ‘Media’ Debuts on Spotify

(August 19, 2021) – Indie Rock/Reggae band Free Mace is proof that Jacksonville, Florida, has more to offer than an elite football team. This group of aspiring musicians and artists just dropped their brand-new sonorous album titled ‘Media’. A combination of the beats and tunes familiar to reggae music, intermixed with Free Mace’s distinctiveness, ‘Media’ is not one to be missed. The album was released on August 13th, 2021.

‘Media’ is a self-produced project with a message. Even though there is no lack of new music in the market today, much of it is just music and vocals. However, Free Mace has taken this opportunity to use its platform to bring its listeners with more than just the basics. With a hundred followers and over a thousand listeners on Spotify, the band is garnering more attention by the day.

Our album focuses on the facade of social media and the news. The songs have a lot of depth and require you to break them down to understand the messages we are trying to portray. We wanted to push the envelope of our sound and originate something that you cannot compare anything to”, says Mason; a member of Free Mace.

Since its debut, Free Mace is quickly taking the world by storm with its unparalleled sound and style. Inspired by real-life experiences, Free Mace strives to create music that will serve as a soundtrack in the background lives of the listener. Comprising of guitarist/vocalist/producer Mason Staub and an oscillating bass player and drummer, the band seeks to push the boundaries with their sound, hoping to intermix numerous elements from diverse genres to make a well-rounded, dynamic style.

The band is fueled by their passion for music and their willingness to be the next big band to breakthrough. With every release, the Florida natives have listeners engulfed in the world they create with their conscious thinking and anti-establishment rhetoric. Free Mace is a band to keep an eye on and ear out for as they establish themselves in the music scene for years to come”, says a spokesperson for the reggae band Free Mace.
