Trisha Krishnan celebrated her 20th anniversary in the film business last September and is currently soaking up the incredible reception to Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2. Did you know that at one time in her career, she claimed she was fine with modelling and had no interest in acting?
In a throwback interview with actor Yugi Sethu, Trisha discussed modelling and the reasons she didn’t want to be an actress. At first, Trisha sung a song. She informed Yugi that she is a Class 12 student. Then, Yugi enquired as to whether modelling was something she was interested in on her own or if her parents had asked her to pursue it. She said that acting wasn’t her cup of tea after informing him that she entered the business out of personal interest.
Uma, Trisha’s mother, confirmed the rumours in a televised interview. Trisha is still involved with the project, she has previously stated. She also rubbished the reports that claimed Trisha returned home because she fell ill due to the extremely cold weather in Kashmir.
