Toronto Hip Hop Talent Halim Releases Debut Single “Tour Life”

As the music industry evolves, it becomes more and more common for artists to release lack-luster stuff. It’s rare for an artist to release high-quality songs and visuals for their first release. Toronto hip hop artist Halim is proving he is one of those rare artists. His debut single “Tour Life” is accompanied by a music video directed by Dragan Andic of The 97Collective, featuring Halim and a love interest. The song features a strong vocal performance by Halim, where he really invites the listener into his matrix. The song feels like a major label release, however Halim is completely independent.

The 27 year old artist has been producing music since the age of 22, and is hoping to be on the main stage of Toronto’s coveted hip hop industry. Since around 2015 (the year of “the Drake effect”, Toronto has been put on the world stage in the eyes of the hip hop industry. Successful artists such as Pressa and Smiley are just some of the names coming out of Toronto. As 2022 goes on, Halim hopes to solidify himself among members of that list.
