This year we celebrate CELESTEGOODD SERVICE’S First Anniversary
What thoughts and emotions come to mind when you think about that?
I am just Grateful to God and realize there is nothing small about a small business.
What made you start CELSTEGOODS SERVlCE?
Where did you draw inspiration to start and build this incredible business?
First, I just love cleaning in general. One day I learned from a pastor that a 9 to 5 job cannot make you succeed in life, it is supposed to be a seed for your gift, and I didn’t realize I had that cleaning gift even though I love cleaning. Throughout the pandemic I decided to clean for people for money as an additional income beside my pizza job. A lot of people did not encourage that idea just because it’s dangerous for me as immigrant who doesn’t know much in business in case something wrong happens. Thanks to God, an old friend who I lost contact with 16 years ago while in high-school in my home country of Haiti contacted me from Facebook concerning a diet product that I’m selling, and we had a great conversation after he bought the product. I asked him what he did for a living and he said he had a cleaning company, and I’m like “Really? How did you do it? What was the process?” A lot of questions started coming. I remember he said with humility. “Take your time, and I can guide you in every step and the same day I never forgot I was in front of the pizza place with my notebook taking of all the information he was sharing with me and I started the process right there, I am now forever grateful to my dear friend Ferrat Destine.
What was your vision in 2021 and how have you met them or even surpassed those visions?
Well, after everything that I’ve learn specially with the pandemic I wanted to serve my community in a way that I know I am good at by helping them have a clean safe place. I know that we surpassed those visions through the feedback from our customers which shows that 99% of them are really impressed.
In what different ways have you grown CELESTEGOODS service over the year?
I would say daily and every client is a new experience. We learn and grow daily and as a team from the way we started now we are more confident to deliver the best cleaning service for our clients.
What do you see as the biggest accomplishmene since your start in 2021?
Our greatest accomplishment is being ranked #1 cleaning company in our state. We kept our promise to provide an excellent and timely cleanings always.
What is your favorite part about your job? What excites you most?
My favorite part about my job is like every day is a new adventure and an opportunity to make a difference. Bringing happiness in a client’s home while working happily with my team. What excites me the most is when I receive a great review after a cleaning.
What other CEO’s do you look up to and who has inspired you to have the work ethic that you do? Who is your business role model?
I have a few people that I admire like Ferrat Destine, Myles Monroe etc. But I learned how to love hard work, integrity, and loyalty from my mom.
What is the best piece of leadership advice you have received?
Keep your character.
Where do you expect to go in the next 10 years?
As CEO of Celestegoods Services I see my company in most of the states, not just in Delaware. I keep pushing by offering quality and #1 Cleaning services at all time.
