Omar Choudhury, aka OmarConnects, is the definition of an entrepreneur. Starting his entrepreneurship career by himself and co-building a multi-million-dollar agency in his first year, we explore how the young business tycoon went from ground zero to becoming a huge name in the industry.
Background
Coming from the bottom percentile of U.K household income growing up, Omar had to fight for everything he achieved throughout his childhood. Despite his Mother being well educated and doing everything she could to provide him with a good upbringing, Omar knew he had to build his own destiny as no one was coming to save him.
After school, Omar was accepted into a prestigious degree apprenticeship, an opportunity to work at a Big 4 Accountancy firm whilst studying for a paid degree. But during his second year, Omar realized that the 9-5 trapped him and it was just a sure way to live a boring and ordinary life. He needed to be different, not just for himself, but for his family too.
Grow With Us
At the start of 2020, Omar set up an online business and after a few months, he started to make a name for himself due to his ability to close deals. He connected with Dre Medici and Arthur Caravellas and together they scaled Grow With Us Agency (GWU), to now the number 1 ranking Instagram branding agency. In their first year GWU had helped over 1000 clients from across the world, scale and monetize their brand on Instagram. The company has start-ups to multi-9-figure business owners all within their portfolio.
Omar also trains the GWU sales team and has had helped hundreds of his mentees generate thousands of dollars online. It is clear to see that through his own sheer determination and willpower, Omar has not only turned his life around but the lives of thousands too.
Giving Back
Omar is focused on giving back to the community and providing others with opportunities he never was given growing up. His long-term goal is to start reforming the schooling system and develop a program to teach high-income skills, something most teenagers do not have.
There is no doubt at 21 years old, Omar’s achievements are only going to increase.
