TCL has introduced the TCL 505, a cost-effective smartphone, to the worldwide market. With two cameras on the back and a reflective finish, the phone has a flat design overall. The 6.75-inch HD+ display on the phone features a refresh rate of 90 Hz, 400 nits of brightness, and technology to minimize reflections and reduce exposure to blue light.
The ability to expand via microSD card, the TCL 505 boasts 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, powered by a Helio G36 chipset. Its performance in demanding tasks will be enhanced by the ability for users to virtually increase the RAM by an extra 4GB.
The TCL 505’s primary camera, which has a 1/2.55-inch sensor with 0.7μm pixels, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP front camera for selfies, is responsible for taking pictures. Additionally, the phone has two speakers to provide a richer audio experience when playing media.
An important consideration is battery life, as the device can run all day on a single charge thanks to a 5,010mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
The TCL 505 carries over the design language of the TCL 50 series and is available in Ocean Blue and Space Grey. Although TCL has not yet disclosed the 505’s price, it is anticipated that the product will be reasonably priced in the market.
