Later this year, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Fold 5’s replacement, is anticipated to go on sale. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the book-style foldable smartphone could be unveiled together during the July Galaxy Unpacked event. Although the handsets’ specifications have not been officially confirmed, and leaks have indicated a number of important characteristics. Partial design renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 have just surfaced online. Some recent design leaks reveal further incomplete renders that allude to important design components.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Design (Expected)

An image of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6’s cover screen adjacent to the current Galaxy Z Fold 5 was leaked by tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce). While the sides of the current generation folding phone are rounded, the render of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has straight, boxy edges. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra shares a lot of similarities with this design.

A larger circular rear camera unit than the current model may be featured on the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 6 back panel, according to another leaked render that was shared by X user Anthony (@TheGalox_) and cites the same tipster.

Although the mockups the tipster supplied appear to show a thinner, circular island, it appears that the back cameras are still vertically placed. Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the edges of the phone in this render also seem more squared off.

Expected Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6:

It has already been speculated that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have an enlarged outside screen measuring 6.3 inches. The Galaxy-specific Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm is anticipated to power the phone. 10GB of RAM and the Android 14 operating system are probably going to be included in the box as well.

Three color options—dark blue, light pink, and silver—may be available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. It is anticipated to have a titanium frame. With compatibility for 25W wired charging, a 4,400mAh battery is anticipated to power it.
