Sean Ortiz from Jurupa Valley is building a new website and creating educational resources to teach people about leadership skills in the workplace and beyond.
He’s worked with various types of businesses over the past decade and has had lots of concrete success, which has solidified his expertise in his field.
He took a business from $900,000 to over $6 million in sales.
As a highly sought-after person in his industry, Ortiz wants to do more to share his knowledge with the world.
Overseeing operations and supply chain management, and employing leadership skills within the workplace, Ortiz has helped change people’s lives in Jurupa Valley and beyond for the better.
“Leaders help people become the strongest version of themselves,” says Ortiz.
Ortiz says he’s overcome life challenges and obstacles and continues to improve and develop himself each day.
He says positive lessons can be gleaned from any situation, and it’s important to recognize patterns in business and in life to gain positive insight and maintain a positive state of mind.
When we asked Ortiz about his new website and why he wanted to help people, he said this: “I’ve always naturally fell into the role of the leader and people often look to me to take charge.”
Since leadership is a skill that he’s practiced over the past decade and one that comes naturally, Ortiz says it would be a waste not to share his passion and expertise with the world.
Outside of his daily work, Ortiz is striving to do more for his community and beyond.
He encourages others to work hard as well, because Ortiz believes it leads to a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment.
“I love helping people grow and develop. It has always been a passion of mine and I want to continue doing that both personally and professionally,” says Ortiz.
Ortiz says he’s always open to trying new things, even if they’re outside of his comfort zone because that’s how we learn new things.
He encourages the people he leads to work as hard as possible, to be the first one there and the last one to leave.
But he doesn’t cultivate that attitude through force.
He shows them their skills and talents and helps them find their purpose.
Ortiz says once we have a purpose, we are able to focus on it and let it grow into a passion.
Aside from concrete business skills, Ortiz wants to help people shed limiting beliefs and perform optimally in the workplace and in life.
He thinks the combination of industry experience and people skills will help him communicate his business and leadership skills in an understandable and engaging way.
“It’s all about communication and listening.”
