The former TMZ personality-turned-Trivago guy celebrated his birthday in style (Thursday, September 5, 19) at the Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa in Palm Springs. The expat was there to watch his all-time favorite band, Duran Duran playing live.
Sean has been a huge fan of Britain biggest pop-stars since his school days in the eighties and became friends with certain members of the group, including drummer Roger Taylor and keyboardist Nick Rhodes (pictured) in the nineties.

He attended the event with a close friend, skin guru Sabastian Reich, the pair were spotted dancing side of the stage to well-known hits such as Rio, Hungry Like the Wolf and The Reflex.
Duran Duran formed in Birmingham (UK) in 1978. The band was one of the most successful acts of the 1980s, but by the end of the decade, music style changes challenged the bands staying power, however, they had a massive resurgence in the early 1990s with hits Come Undone and Ordinary World.
Sean told us: “I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen Duran Duran perform live. So I was delighted to get a surprise text from my friend Roger (Taylor) on the morning of my birthday, reminding me I had tickets waiting for me at the box office. I love the band, I still can’t get enough of Girls on Film and Wild Boys. It never gets old for me.”

The British socialite, based in Los Angeles is best known for his work on TV Guide’s “Hollywood 411” and TMZ. It was also rumored recently that he is set to join the new Trivago campaign line-up after promotional shots surfaced on the Internet leading fans to believe he might be one of the new faces in the upcoming television advertisements.
Although nothing has been officially announced yet, Borg is a popular choice on social media among the Trivago die-hards.
In a recent interview with trendy Voyage LA, Borg reflected on his career in Los Angeles, saying: “Los Angeles can be a very tough place at times. I moved from the UK in 2005 and have been here ever since. Nothing was ever smooth. I’ve always had to chase people down to get noticed, and that’s OK. Nothing has ever fallen in my lap. I think that’s what makes one a survivor, not having it easy in this very tough industry.
“I think what sets me apart from others, is, I will take a few risks — I often say to myself, “Well if it all fails, then f**K it, start again!” (Laughs) I have so many areas of the entertainment industry under my belt — I mean, I have tried it all. I have produced TV shows, PR’d people to the front pages of newspapers and magazines worldwide, I have hosted on TV, been the face of brands myself, so with all that knowledge and understanding, I can use that to my advantage to help others.”
