She is considered one of the most beautiful bloggers in Australia who recently gave birth to her first child, Georgii. Now, Sapphiroula has revealed how she managed to get pregnant after being diagnoses with endometriosis. Endometriosis is a painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus grows outside of your uterus.
The blogger, mother and business owner, 25, reveals she was diagnosed with the unfortunate news at the age of 23. The doctors told her the Endometriosis was severe with the tissue spread to her bladder, rectum, vaginal wall, right ovaries, and bowels. At this point she was told by doctors there was uncertainty if she could get pregnant in the future.
In January 2018, the mum-of-one underwent conservative surgery to remove as much tissue as possible in a bid to increase her chances of becoming pregnant. After a successful surgery, Sapphiroula was told her best chances of conceiving would be shortly after her operation. The model fell pregnant in November and gave birth 9 months later to her son Georgii. Sapphiroula said ‘At the time I wasn’t actually trying when I fell pregnant and was shocked!’. After a few weeks of being pregnant, she thought she was miscarrying because her HGC levels were worryingly low. But it ended up being a successful pregnancy. She also says ‘I did a lot of acupuncture at the time’ which helped with her pregnancy. In fact, Georgii originated from her left ovary which was the only part of her uterus not affected by the Endometriosis.
Moving forward, Sapphiroulda is keen to start trying for baby number two. She says ‘I am unsure if I will be as lucky when trying again so we will start trying soon to see’.
