Md Mahtab Alam, a member of the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) is one of the emerging leaders in Bihar. He has outshined many political figures via his work as a politician and social worker. In 2020, Md Mahtab Alam arranged for the food and transportation of thousands of migrants who were stuck in Hyderabad and Gujarat. He brought them to their home state Bihar and did the noble work of reuniting them with their loved ones in the times of crisis.

He also criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his laid back approach in the fight against Covid-19.
Native of Siwan, the 32-year-old politician currently resides in Patna. Through his social work and political actions, he is redefining the leadership goals in Bihar.
