Over the period that runs from 2014 until 2017, he was interested in two paradoxical fields: arts and mathematics. Those college years were not the easiest since the choices were very restricted. By the time he had to submit to universities, Rami decided to pursue both of my interests and allow myself to discover “architecture”.
By combining different disciplines we create sustainable designs to smoothen every day’s obstacles and that’s one of Rami’s major goals in life: creating new and proportional inventions.
After receiving his acceptance in ALBA (Academie Libanaise Des Beaux Arts), his journey of 4 years in UOB had started, where he had to face lots of obstacles that ended up giving him insight into the world of architecture, which also led to the improvement of critical thinking and the expansion of his knowledge about anything architecture-related. One thing Rami had acquired and ameliorated over the years is the ability to think outside the box and challenge himself to be more and more innovative, helping him understand and grasp the idea of innovative architecture. Rami’s main focus was on visual arts and 3D modeling, he had watched his skills rapidly develop in those fields with the help of some photoshop, SketchUp, and rendering courses where some included “Rhino 3D” as a software, and had also participated in competitions that pushed him to perform his best one of them being “THE TOY” which was a competition that involved transforming an old toy into an architectural territory.
Rami also started making his own money out of it which helped with university tuition and payments, also fortunate enough to work for a timeframe of 2 years in a company that creates architectural projects for the Lebanese army, where he took part in a lot of their projects in the ministry of national defence-Fiyadiye that made him gain a lot of experience in the field of defense architecture that interests him the most, where he did some 3Ds, plan designs, and projects for the military. Rami’s passion drove him to a point where he decided to open his first architecture office, “SABA ARCHITECTS” which even has its own page on Instagram. SABA ARCHITECTS’ crew is doing its best lately to ameliorate the company and expand their horizons by taking students’ architectural projects of any type, such as product design, graphic design, animation, advertising, and teaching those students how they can get these projects executed in the most inventive and creative way.
