Rishi – a Canadian pop singer making his official streaming debut – is renovating “Long Ago”, Mariah Carey’s 1995 single. The song was first released on Mariah Carey’s 1995 album “Daydream”. Rishi decided to remake the track to put his personal spin on it because he felt “maybe it was not as famous as her other hits”.
Rishi delivers a smooth yet powerful vocal performance on the 1995 track. The cover version of the song is much more “thrilling” to say the least – while still preserving its original character. We are excited to witness Rishi’s wide vocal range again as well as more incredible performances from the Canadian artist. Not much is known about the artist yet, but what we do know is he is 1-for-1 when it comes to singles. We will definitely be keeping an eye on Rishi, as should you.
