On April 10, Redmi will make the announcement of the Redmi Pad Pro tablet and the Redmi Turbo 3. The company officially confirmed today that the Turbo 3 will be the first phone in its lineup to support air gestures. It will also include a feature called the AI Magic Elimination Pro that uses AI to edit photos.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, according to Redmi, will allow the Turbo 3 to support advanced AI features. The Turbo 3 will be controllable without a display thanks to the company’s emphasis on its support for a variety of air gestures. The following video demonstrates the various air gestures that the Turbo 3 will support.
Furthermore, the Turbo 3 will be compatible with AI Magic Elimination Pro, an AI-powered photo retouching tool that uses machine learning to automatically remove specific elements from images.
The new chip, according to the company, makes the process smarter, faster, and more accurate.
Based on reports, the Redmi Turbo 3 is expected to sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. A 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM could be included in the device’s package.
A 20-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX882) + 8-megapixel (IMX355, ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit may be included for photography.
