One of the smartphones that may launch in the first quarter of 2024 is the Poco X6 series. The BIS certification platform in India has recently approved the Poco X6 Neo 5G (model number: 2312FRAFDI), and the Poco X6 5G (model number: 23122PCD1G / 23122PCD1I) has been approved by a few certification platforms, including the IMDA in Singapore, the EEC in Europe, and the BIS in India. According to a report by TheTechOutlook, the Poco X6 Pro 5G has now received approval from the NBTC certification platform in Thailand.
Poco X6 Pro 5G certified by NBTC
The Poco X6 Pro 5G’s NBTC certification indicates that its model number is 2311DRK48G. This device has previously been observed in the databases of other certification platforms, including TKDN (Indonesia), EEC, and IMDA. The phone’s India model number is 2311DRK48I, and it has also received BIS certification. The Poco X6 Pro 5G, which will launch later today in China, is a rebranded variant of the Dimensity 8300-Ultra powered Redmi K70e, according to these certifications.
Rumors that the Redmi K70e would be rebranded as Poco F6 5G in the global market have been refuted by the NBTC certification. Poco announced its plans to launch a flagship phone with the Dimensity 9200+ in August at the POCO Partners SEA Forum in Thailand. This device, which appears to be the POCO F6 5G, is probably based on the Redmi K60 Ultra, which has the same chip.
Regarding the other Poco X6 series phones, rumors suggest that the Poco X6 Neo 5G will be a modified Redmi Note 13R Pro 5G that is sold in China. The X6 Neo is rumored to have a 64-megapixel primary camera in place of the Note 13’s 108-megapixel camera. Conversely, the Poco X6 5G is purported to be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G that is sold in China.
