On Thursday, the Realme GT 6 was released in India and other international markets. The newest GT series smartphone, which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, has remarkable AI-based capabilities that are reminiscent of those seen in Google and Samsung devices. The Realme GT 6 is the first smartphone from the firm to come pre-installed with generative AI (GenAI) features. It sports a triple camera arrangement at the back, with the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor taking center stage. It also features an AMOLED display with full-HD+ quality. It is powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W SuperVOOC charging.

The base 8GB + 256GB model of the Realme GT 6 costs Rs. 40,999. The top-end model, which has 16GB + 512GB, costs Rs. 44,999, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 42,999. Razor Green and Fluid Sliver are the available hues.

From June 20 from 2:30 pm to June 24 at 11:59 pm, pre-orders for the recently released Realme GT 6 can be placed on the company website and on Flipkart. Customers who place a pre-order for the phone can receive an instant bank of up to Rs. 4,000 and six months of screen damage protection. Realme is providing an additional exchange discount of up to Rs. 1,000. There are also free EMI choices available for a maximum of 12 months.

Realme GT 6 Specifications

The 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,264×2,780 pixels) 8T LTPO AMOLED display of the dual SIM (Nano) Realme GT 6 runs on Android 14 and supports Dolby Vision and HDR 10+. It is powered by Realme UI 5. Up to 6,000 nits of brightness and a 360 Hz touch sampling rate are promised for the display. A 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and 512B of storage powers the new phone. Enhancing cooling efficiency is a 10,014mm square 3D tempered dual VC system.

The Realme GT 6 boasts a triple back camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor that supports OIS and has an f/1.69 aperture. A 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 extreme wide-angle camera are also part of the camera configuration. The front of the device has a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video chats.

The camera configuration can record 4K video at 30 frames per second and enable Dolby Vision. There is a special AI Night Vision Mode available. Other AI-powered capabilities on the phone include AI Smart Loop and AI Smart Removal. By circling undesired things in images, the former can assist with their removal.

The Realme GT 6 has Wi-Fi 6, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC connectivity options. It boasts Hi-Res certification and an X-axis linear motor. Dual microphones are another feature of the GT 6. To unlock the smartphone, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

A 5,500mAh battery with 120W charging capabilities is housed in the Realme GT 6. It is stated that this quick charging technology can charge the battery in ten minutes, going from empty to fifty percent. It claims to take 28 minutes to fully charge the phone. According to the manufacturer, a single charge of the battery will allow for up to 46 hours of talk time and 8 hours of PUBG gameplay. After 1,600 full charge cycles, it is stated to retain over 80% of its capacity. The phone is 199 grams in weight and has dimensions of 162×75.1×8.65 mm.
