Realme is getting ready to reintroduce its flagship GT series in India. Sky Li, the CEO and founder of Realme, hinted at the GT series’ return to the nation through X. The nation’s mid-premium market segment is the focus of the most recent addition. Realme has not disclosed the name or any information regarding the next generation of phones. It is confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 6 will launch in China on May 9. It will be the sibling model of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which was unveiled in April.
The Realme GT series will return to India, Sky Li announced on Tuesday, May 7, through an X post. In conjunction with its sixth anniversary celebrations, the brand will introduce the sixth generation of the GT series in the nation. Realme’s new lineup is intended to cater to the mid-premium market segment. The post doesn’t provide many details regarding the smartphones’ names or specs, but as was already mentioned, it is confirmed that the new lineup will be a flagship model.
The Realme GT 6 is widely expected to launch soon, despite the specific model being kept a secret. India is currently able to purchase the GT Neo 3 and GT 2 Pro from Realme.
Ahead of its May 9 launch in China, Realme is getting ready to unveil the Realme GT Neo 6. That it runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC has been confirmed. A 120W fast charging capable 5,500mAh battery, an 8T LTPO display, an IP65-rated construction, and up to 1TB of storage are among its hinted features.
In April, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE was introduced in China, with a price tag of CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 18,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. With an 8T LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 6,000 nits of peak brightness, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. It features a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging, along with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit.
