Since February 6th, Flipkart, Realme India’s website, and physical stores have been selling the Realme 12 Pro series in India. Shades of Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige were among the options for both phones. The brand revealed at the launch event that the Explorer Red color option for the Realme 12 Pro+ will also be available for purchase on February 9. Today is the day, and the red version will go on sale at 12 p.m. (local time).
Realme 12 Pro+ Explorer Red cost and features
Prices for the Realme 12 Pro+ Explorer Red and its other color variations are the same. Three different configurations are available: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Rs 29,999 (~$360), Rs 31,999 (~$385), and Rs 33,999 (~$410) are the prices of these configurations, in that order.
A 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and FHD+ resolution is featured on the Realme 12 Pro+. It runs Android 14 and has an under-display fingerprint sensor for security. It is based on the Realme UI 5 operating system. Three years of security updates and two Android OS upgrades are for the device.
The Realme 12 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 67W. Its front-facing 32-megapixel camera can be used for selfies. On the back panel are three additional cameras: an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with support for optical image stabilization.
In related news, Francis Wong, CEO of Realme Europe, revealed a Realme 12 Pro+ model that has a see-through back panel. It’s expected to launch in limited quantities shortly.
