Realme plans to release the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G and Realme 12+ 5G smartphones in Malaysia on February 29, 2024. Pre-orders will open on February 16 and will cost RM 12 (~Rs 200). This announcement comes after the company’s 150,000 Realme 12 Pro series units were successfully sold earlier this year.
Accompanied by an efficient Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, the Realme 12+ 5G boasts a 120 Hz AMOLED display for fluid visuals. Combining a 16MP front camera for selfies with an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and LYT-600 OIS portrait camera will allow for versatile photography. The device boasts a 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W SUPERVOOC charging for quick power-ups and runs Realme UI 5.0, which is based on Android 14. Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige will be the color options.
A 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution is a feature of the Realme 12 Pro+. It uses Android 14-based Realme UI 5 and an under-display fingerprint sensor for security. Three years of security updates and two Android OS upgrades are promised for the device.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging are all found inside the Realme 12 Pro+’s chassis. Its 32-megapixel front-facing camera is ideal for taking selfies, while the rear panel features an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS support.
