POCO may soon release smartphones from the POCO F6 series in foreign markets, such as India. The RAM, storage, and camera sensor specifications of the standard POCO F6 smartphone have been exclusively disclosed by 91Mobiles Hindi.
POCO F6: Anticipated Features
The 50MP Sony IMX920 primary camera that the POCO F6 is expected to sport has been leaked to 91Mobiles Hindi by industrial sources.
A prior leak indicated that the device would have two cameras: an 8MP ultrawide Sony IMX 355 camera and a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera. It was also reported that the standard F6 would have an OmniVision OV20B40 selfie sensor, which is thought to be a 20MP camera. This appears not to be the case going forward, though.
The report adds that the AMOLED display of the upcoming device will be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. POCO will not include the 3.5mm headphone jack with the device, much like the recently launched smartphones.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC is anticipated to power the smartphone. Additionally, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage are anticipated to be supported by the smartphone. It is expected to make its debut as a rebranded Redmi Turbo 3, which was just introduced in China along with the Redmi Pad Pro tablet.
A 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz is also anticipated for the POCO F6. HyperOS, which is based on Android 14, will be installed on the smartphone. Additionally, 120W wired fast charging technology is reportedly supported by the device.
To recall, the POCO F6 recently appeared on the BIS certification site with the 24069PC21I model number, suggesting that launch in India is around the corner. However, POCO hasn’t confirmed these details yet.
