The Oukitel WP50 is a new robust smartphone that’s appropriate for regular usage. It is built to resist physical stress, water, and dust, and it supports 5G technology.
The WP50, a new rugged smartphone from Oukitel that has a thickness of 12.2 millimeters, is expected to be reasonably small. The smartphone is certified IP68 and IP69, which means it can survive fall from heights of up to 1.2 meters and up to 30 minutes in 1.5 meters of water, so consumers don’t have to make any significant compromises in terms of durability, according to the company.
In addition to being able to connect to 5G mobile networks, the WP50 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ and has an integrated mobile modem. Both SIM card slots are there, and a memory card can be used to increase the 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage. Although the operating system is Android 14, customers shouldn’t have high expectations for updates.
The resolution on the 6.6-inch screen is 2,400 x 1,080. Sadly, Oukitel did not incorporate a thermal imaging or night vision camera in the WP50. In addition to having a fingerprint sensor, the WP50 may also be used to make wireless payments because of the embedded NFC module. Despite its small size, the 6,500 mAh battery has an 18 watt charging capability. While some cellphones have much faster charging times than this one, this is still quite quick.
It is anticipated that the WP50 would cost less than $200 when it is imported starting on June 17.
