OPPO Find X7 Pro and Ultra are expected to be released as flagship smartphones with quad 50MP cameras

The most potent cameras OPPO has ever developed for a smartphone are expected to be included in the Find X7 series when it launches. The shooters’ most comprehensive specs dump to date has been shared by renowned leaker Digital Chat Station. The base X7 is portrayed as basically a OnePlus 12 but marginally better, while the top-tier Pro and Ultra models are said to have four sensors with the highest on-trend resolution.

According to a recent Weibo leak, OPPO plans to conceal the Find X7 Pro’s resemblance to the Find N3 by placing a metallic surround above a rear panel that is otherwise finished in vegan leather. The Find X7 Pro is currently thought to launch with quad rear cameras in a suspiciously familiar layout.

Moreover, Hasselblad-inspired details, like the nearly unavoidable large H emblem, might return on the Find X7 series. A little more in-depth information about the sensors included in the updated round camera hump is now being offered by the more well-known leaker Digital Chat Station ahead of its release.

This updated list contains three whole lines, which raises the possibility that one of those lines is for the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, X7 Pro, and regular X7. Should that be the case, the first two feature identical lines that denote an all-50MP lineup: the purportedly new Sony LYT-900 primary sensor, the two “IMX890 3X+ 6X” periscope lenses, and an unnamed fourth camera.

With the exception of the addition of a second 50MP camera in place of the 48MP ultra-wide sensor, the standard Find X7 appears to have the same rear cameras as the OnePlus 12 powered by the LYT-808. As gadgets that can take “master images” that “have more weight,” all three of the upcoming flagship smartphones are now expected to debut in early January 2024.
