Nubia has announced that the Nubia Z60 Ultra will be unveiled in China on December 19. The device is made to compete with recently released smartphones in China, such as the Xiaomi 14 Pro, OnePlus 12, iQOO 12 Pro, and Realme GT 5 Pro. The Z60 Ultra will provide a superior photography experience than its rivals, according to a recent confirmation from Nubia. In order to verify the device’s camera capabilities, the brand released new posters today.
Camera specifications for the Nubia Z60 Ultra
A strong camera configuration is on display in the first poster image, which has a 50-megapixel primary lens with an 18mm focal length and a wide aperture for outstanding clarity. Beyond the capabilities of a one-inch camera sensor, the device also has a 50-megapixel high-definition optics lens with a 35mm focal length. The phone features a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with an 85mm focal length, which is noteworthy. There will be optical image stabilization (OIS) support for all three cameras.
The device’s immersive full-screen display, which incorporates an under-display camera for a seamless visual experience, is highlighted in the second teaser. The fifth-generation Under Display Camera (UDC) technology from the company will be integrated into the BOE Q9+ display panel that will be installed on the device. It will be enhanced by ultra-large 2.8µm pixels and a dedicated display chip. The Z60 Ultra appears to have a 16-megapixel under-display camera similar to the Red Magic 9 Pro series, though the company has not disclosed the number of megapixels on the front camera.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is confirmed to be included in the Nubia Z60 Ultra. A 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM are also anticipated to be included in the device’s packaging. It is reported to have a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 1.5K resolution on the front.
