The 2024 ZTE terminal series new product conference is scheduled for February 26. Nubia announced today that its first folding screen mobile phone, the Nubia Flip 5G, will be unveiled at the Barcelona MWC 2024 exhibition.
The machine uses a vertical small folding design, as seen in the poster, and has a circular outer screen on the back.
ZTE reportedly introduced a Libero Flip-like smartphone in Japan, albeit with a different name, according to a previous report from Igeekphone.
The Libero Flip is a mobile device that runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 platform. It has a 6.9-inch internal screen with a resolution of 2790×1888 and an external 1.43-inch 466×466 circular screen. It can be used to take selfies, record videos, view steps, check the weather, and control music.
A 50-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens combine to form the Libero Flip’s rear lens. Its 16-megapixel front camera is capable of hovering.
Three color options are available for the Libero Flip from ZTE in terms of appearance: blue, white, and gold. The body width measures 76 mm, the thickness when unfolded is 7.3 mm, the thickness when folded is 15.5 mm, and the weight is 214 g. It is IP4X dustproof and IPX2 waterproof. 60–110 degrees is the hinge hover angle.
With a 4310mAh battery, the Libero Flip can be fully charged in roughly 73 minutes and supports 33W QC4+/PD3.0 fast charging. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, side fingerprint and face recognition, and NFC functionality compatible with FeliCa are all supported.
