Given that the device has been leaked online, the Nothing Phone 3 launch event may not be too far off. Although an official release date has not yet been announced, rumors suggest that Nothing’s upcoming 5G phone may debut in July of this year. It will take the place of the Nothing Phone 2, which debuted in July of 2023.
While details about the phone’s features are still scarce, a recent report provides some light on possible information about its processor and price range in the Indian market. Industry insiders tell 91Mobiles Hindi that the Nothing Phone 3 will retail for between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000 in India. If this is accurate, it won’t come as a surprise as its predecessor was released in a comparable price range.
With a starting base model price of Rs 44,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option, the Nothing Phone 2 was competitively priced. At Rs 49,999 and Rs 54,999, respectively, the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB were made accessible. It’s likely that Nothing’s upcoming premium mid-range phone will cost roughly the same as its predecessor.
According to the referenced source, Qualcomm’s most recent Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC may power the Nothing Phone 2. Although it didn’t disclose any other specifications, it is anticipated that the new model will have a large display and a larger battery that supports faster charging. With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a large 4,700mAh battery with 45W wired charging support, a bright 6.7-inch full-HD+ LTPO OLED display, and impressive camera capabilities—including a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup—the current Phone 2 is an impressive device.
In addition, Nothing just introduced the Nothing Phone 2a, their third smartphone, in India. The device is priced in India at Rs 23,999 and is available in two variants. This was the first time the business held an international launch event in India. The Nothing Phone 2a has a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset and has the recognizable Nothing transparent design. It is a more reasonably priced model of their high-end smartphones.
