The New York Islanders gained forwards Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac from the New Jersey Devils Wednesday night in trade for their 2021 first round draft pick, a conditional fourth round draft pick in 2022, and advances A.J. Greer and Mason Jobst.

Palmieri has eight goals and nine assists in 34 games this season. The 30-year-old is in the final year of his contract with a cap hit of $2.325 million and will be an unrestricted free agent after the season.

Zajac has seven goals and 11 aids 33 games this season. The 35-year-old will likewise be an unlimited free specialist after the season. He is as of now last year of his contract with a cap hit of $2.875 million.

Greer, 24, was per second round selection in the 2015 NHL Draft. He has one goal and five assists in 37 career NHL games.
