New Images Provide Additional Information Regarding Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold

The hidden new Pixel 9 phone lineup from Google isn’t so secret anymore. New images of the phones, which include the Pixel 9 Pro Fold from practically every aspect, have been provided by Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC).

Android Authority released galleries of all four phones—the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold—after discovering the images in the NCC archives. They make available a few intriguing data regarding the latest Pixel phones.

Compared to the previous generation of Pixel phones, the charging rates will be slightly faster: The base model’s power consumption was measured by Taiwanese regulators at 24.12W, the Pro model’s at 25.20W, and the 9 Pro XL at 32.67W. But at 20.25W, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold was the slowest of all of them. Since these data don’t often line up exactly with the ratings that are being advertised, Google is probably going to be pushing greater numbers during the event.

About chargers, it appears that Google’s new phones required a larger one. Depending on the model you choose, the NCC leak’s photos indicate that every phone will come with a wall charger that can handle up to 45W. The brick’s midsection to top was where the charger’s plug was located.

The 9 Pro Fold is also seen unfurled for the first time in the most recent photo leak. In order to provide a larger field of view, Google shifted the selfie camera to the inside screen. Along with having a reduced fold crease on the display, a narrower top and bottom, and a complete 180-degree unfolding angle, the 9 Pro Fold may unfold to reveal a screen that is just less than 10 inches, or just over 250mm.

These images are the most recent in a lengthy series of Google Pixel 9 leaks. Yesterday saw the release of the most recent Pixel 9 leak, which revealed two base and XL model prototypes. Google may want to consider purchasing a new combination lock for the high school locker that appears to hold all of their gear that hasn’t been revealed yet.
