Naresh Yadav is a widely acknowledged political figure and social activist in India. He is the founder and National President of the Bhartiya Panchayat Party (BPP) which recently contested the Bihar elections in the year 2020. The Bharitya Panchayat Party has also contested State elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Apart from that, Naresh Yadav is the National President of the Akhil Bharitya Panchayat Sangathan (ABPS). It is the country’s largest organization consisting of Panchayat leaders and other rural and urban officials and bodies. The ABPS is renowned for its hold on rural spaces and the deep understanding of farmer issues that the organization has cultivated throughout the country.
Besides being the National President, Naresh Yadav has also been a very active working member of the Akhil Bharitya Panchayat Sangathan. He played a major role in protesting against the Land Acquisition Bill (2014) which led to an amendment in the favour of farmers. Naresh Yadav and the ABPS were also engaged in voicing the concerns of farmers in Amravati, Andhra Pradesh. Eventually, the farmers were given lifetime royalty for their lands acquired by the State.
Similarly, Naresh Yadav stepped in and raised his voice for the delay in construction of roads in and around certain villages in Noida. He has also been a part of various environment related campaigns and movements throughout the country. These Environment Protection movements focused on the need for protecting and planting trees and encouraging sustainable development and recycling in various industries and factories. Naresh Yadav has participated in campaigns that educated and encouraged people and food shops about proper waste disposal and hygiene in and around markets. A lot of regular cleanliness programmes and drives were also carried out under the guidance of Naresh Yadav.
Throughout his political journey, Naresh Yadav has been inclined towards serving people and marginalized sections of society. Till date, he continues to be active in various fields of social work, progress and upliftment.
