MS Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings, might face a suspension from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 championship game. Dhoni may not be allowed to participate in the final on May 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium after previously receiving a code of conduct fine for playing slowly.
Dhoni’s disagreement with the umpires during the GT vs. CSK Qualifier 1 match delayed play by four minutes.
In addition to leading Chennai Super Kings to yet another IPL championship game on Tuesday, the cunning Mahendra Singh Dhoni also permitted his deadly weapon Matheesha Pathirana to bowl the decisive 16th over against Gujarat Titans in the opening IPL qualifier.
All of these arguments lasted for a total of four minutes, at the conclusion of which Pathirana was given eight minutes to bowl. Pathirana failed to take a wicket in that over, but he did in the very next one.
