Numerous Motorola phones were revealed in leaked renders earlier this month. Another smartphone from the Moto G series has now surfaced in leaked renders that show off its entire design. This phone is the Moto G Play (2024) from Motorola. It is anticipated to release in 2023 as the follow-up to the Moto G Play from the previous year.
Motorola’s leaked renders of the Moto G Play (2024)
The previously leaked Moto G-series phones and the Motorola Moto G Play (2024) share the same recognizable appearance. The power and volume rocker buttons are on the right side of its flat frame. It appears that the former can also function as a fingerprint scanner. The elevating rectangular island on the back panel is reminiscent of the design found on phones in the OPPO Find X6 and Reno 8 series. A single 50MP primary sensor and an LED flash unit are housed in the module. The camera setup on the smartphone’s predecessor, however, was 16MP + 2MP + 2MP.
The Motorola Moto G Play (2024) features a punch-hole cutout display that is centered on the front. Large bezels encircling the screen and a thicker bottom chin are typical of low-cost phones. According to the report, the smartphone will have a 6.5-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution as opposed to HD+.
One color option for the Motorola Moto G Play (2024) is Sapphire Blue. The 3.5mm jack will be at the top of the device, while the USB-C port and speaker grille will be on the bottom.
It looks like the Motorola Moto G Play (2024) is a low-cost smartphone. It is anticipated to go on sale next month at a suggested retail price of $169.
