The Moto G04’s release date in India has been revealed by Motorola. The primary USP of this entry-level phone, which launches on February 15, is its design. The phone is attractive and available in four colors, even though it is an entry-level model. It is important to note that the phone, which retailed for €119 (roughly ₹10,000) last month, was released in Europe.
Being a low-cost phone, its plastic body is not shocking. The fingerprint sensor is positioned on the side, and the sides are flat.
The phone can withstand typical water splashes thanks to its IP52 rating. On the bottom, there is a single speaker that supports Dolby Atmos.
In terms of technical details, the UNISOC T606 chipset powers the Moto G04. This chip includes an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU and an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 1.6GHz. The chip comes with 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage along with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and 15W rapid charging. Nonetheless, a 10W adapter is included in the package.
A single 16MP rear camera with an f/2.2 lens and 30 frames per second (1080p) video recording is present. There’s a 5MP camera for selfies.
The Moto G04 sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a resolution of 720p. Finally, Android 14 is ready to use right out of the box, and the company has not promised to release any further Android OS updates. For a period of two years, security patch updates will be provided to the phone.
The Moto G04 is available in four hues: sunrise orange, sea green, satin blue, and Concord black. Although the price is not yet known, anticipate that it will start at about ₹7,000 given the specifications.
