Kirti Kulhari has cut her long hair, and she wrote a lengthy letter explaining why she chose to go short. On Sunday, the actor posted a video montage of herself showing off her short new hair on Instagram Reels. The actor, who is known for her series Four More Shots Please and films such as Pink, clarified she did not get her hair cut for any role, but for herself. She claimed that getting her haircut took a month.
New beginnings, new ends, she captioned the photo. I made the decision to do something a month ago, and now I’ve completed it. Being a heroine has its own set of limits and limitations in the business I work in. One unspoken requirement is for hair to be long, or at least shoulder length. Here I am, over 15 years later, working in the field that I love. I don’t have time to wait to do what I want to do, and every time I deviated from the standard, I felt strong and unstoppable.
