Karan Johar was seen hugging Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas on Friday at the NMACC gathering in Mumbai, just days after her shocking interview.
Just a few days after giving an explosive interview about being bullied in Bollywood and trying her luck overseas, Priyanka Chopra was spotted shaking hands with director Karan Johar on Friday at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre’s opening in Mumbai. While Kangana Ranaut recently tweeted that “everyone knows Karan Johar had banned Priyanka Chopra,” Priyanka had not used any names.
On Friday, Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas travelled to India with their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. In the evening, they made an impressive entrance at the NMACC launch, where they were spotted socialising with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Karan Johar. In a film, Karan and Priyanka can be seen hugging each other and discussing how they first met. Nick received an embrace from Karan as well, and they spoke for a considerable amount of time. Priyanka could be seen laughing loudly as they held hands and conversed.
Kangana, Priyanka’s co-star in the fashion line, responded to the news by tweeting, “This is what @PriyankaChopra has to say about Bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her, and chased her out of the film business. A self-made woman was forced to leave India. Everyone is aware of Karan Johar’s prohibition on her. In another tweet, she stated, “Movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India. Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK.”
