India’s First Affordable Smartphone Is Released by Nokia HMD

HMD Global is preparing to launch its first smartphone under the Nokia name in India. The device’s name has been made public by the corporation ahead of its launch. This is the first-ever HMD-branded smartphone, which is expected to be released as the ‘HMD Aero’.

However, the business has chosen to give their cellphones distinct names in other markets. According to NokiaMob, the first HMD handset was released as the Vibe in the US but as the Pulse in Europe. At this moment, the business is getting ready to launch this smartphone—dubbed the “HMD Aero”—in India.

On the X handle of HMD’s official smartphone partner Rajasthan Royals, a 45-second clip revealing the phone’s name has been released. It’s India’s quickest smartphone, according to the company. The firm promises that the next phone will have an excellent camera, display, and design. The device, which will be available with characteristics akin to those of the HMD Pulse, is expected to be a low-cost smartphone, reported Gizmochina.

The HMD Pulse may have been renamed as the Aero, which sports a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a brightness of 480nits. With an Android 14 operating system, the gadget is outfitted with the Unisoc T606.4G chipset. Three years of security patches and two significant OS upgrades are planned for the HMD phone. It has a sizable 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 10W.

The Realme X has a 13MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front camera for taking selfies. Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, and a USB 2.0 Type-C charging connector are among the connectivity options. A fingerprint reader positioned on the side and an IP52 water and dust resistance rating are anticipated features. There is a variation of the smartphone available with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.
