On the eve of International Women’s Day, Nokia unveiled the 4GB RAM-equipped Nokia G42 5G variant. So Pink, So Purple, and So Grey are the three color options that are available. To add to the celebration of International Women’s Day, those who are interested can purchase the Nokia G42 5G in a new RAM variant. In India, the smartphone is already available for purchase in two storage configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB. At Rs 9,999, the new variant will give customers an extra option.
The Nokia G42 5G 4GB RAM version is only offered online at HMD’s and Amazon’s stores. The smartphone will also come with a jelly case, cable, and a 20W fast charger.
Features and Specifications of the Nokia G42 5G
In order to improve multitasking, the new version has 4GB of RAM in addition to 2GB of virtual RAM. Comparably, the earlier models—such as the 8GB RAM—had 8GB of virtual RAM, and the 6GB RAM had 5GB of virtual RAM.
The Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset is paired with the Nokia G42 5G, which has the same other specifications. It has a sizable 6.56-inch LCD display with a peak brightness of 450 nits and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Its Corning Gorilla Glass display provides excellent protection. A 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging technology is also included.
The smartphone has a 50MP primary camera and two secondary 2MP cameras on the back. For video calls and selfies, there is an 8MP front camera. In order to expand storage, there is an extra MicroSD card slot, a fingerprint reader on the side for simple authentication, and a 3.5mm audio jack for music.
In India, the 6GB RAM model costs Rs 12,499, while the 4GB RAM version will cost Rs 9,999.
