The iQOO 12, the company’s flagship smartphone, was formally unveiled last week in India. They also unveiled the Exclusive Priority Pass in conjunction with this announcement.
Priority passes were supposed to be available from December 5th to December 7th, but due to high demand, they sold out within nine hours of being released in India. One day prior to the iQOO 12’s official sale date, on December 13, pass holders will have the chance to buy the device. The gadget will go on sale on December 12 at 5:00 PM.
The iQOO 12 Features
Since the phone was introduced in China last month, its specifications are already known. With a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat LTPO AMOLED display and a variable refresh rate of 144 Hz, the iQOO 12 boasts impressive brightness levels, reaching up to 1400 nits in HBM mode and a maximum brightness of 3000 nits.
It has an Adreno 750 GPU and an Octa-Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It can have 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB (UFS 4.0) of storage.
It supports two SIM cards and has a flexible camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera with a 3x zoom. It runs Android 14 with OriginOS 4.0 in China and Funtouch OS 14 globally. It is equipped with a 16MP camera on the front.
The device has stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio, Hi-Fi audio quality, and an in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It is compatible with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and 5G SA/NSA.
With a 5000mAh battery, the iQOO 12 can be charged quickly using 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, and 120W ultra-fast flash charging.
Cost and Availability
Yesterday, an Amazon listing unintentionally revealed the iQOO 12’s pricing information. The 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs 52,999, while the 16GB + 512GB model costs Rs 57,999. However, these listings have since been removed. The launch-day specials and prospective bank discounts may bring down the price of the smartphone even more.
