Sonakshi Sinha once explained why, after acting in box office successes like Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore, she decided to take on the unusual character in her movie Lootera. She claimed that she never chose a position to support a claim. She claimed that many cautioned her against doing a “arty film” because they believed she needed to be more “mature” for that particular genre.
Everyone around me advised me to avoid making the ‘arty’ film. They informed me that the time was improper. that to play that role, I needed to be much more mature. I was put off from doing that movie. But I went ahead and did it because I had such deep feelings for the character. And I’m happy that it was valued, the actor continued.
On Friday, Sonakshi became a year of age. She is currently enjoying a successful career thanks to the Dahaad series on Prime Video. Her upcoming films include Kakuda, Nikita Roy’s The Book of Darkness, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and more. Additionally, she is developing the historical period web series Heeramandi by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
