Xiaomi’s Android 14 update is scheduled to roll out for the Redmi Note 13 5G series in India, which includes the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. This implies that Xiaomi’s HyperOS, an Android 14 skin, will replace MIUI on the three phones.
This announcement follows the giant of Chinese smartphones’ February launch of HyperOS in India, which sought to improve the user experience across all of its smartphones, smart home appliances, and electric cars.
Redmi Note 13 Series HyperOS Rollout
A post on X (formerly Twitter) announced the launch of HyperOS. The update should soon be available to Indian Redmi Note 13 series users, though it might take a few days for everyone to receive it.
Notably, this update will eventually also be available for the Redmi Note 12 series. The Redmi Note 13 5G series is expected to receive a number of new features from HyperOS. Updated icons and fonts, a redesigned control center, and programmable lock screens are some of these enhancements.
Along with improved productivity tools, users can anticipate improved interconnectivity within the Xiaomi ecosystem and tablet Workstation Mode. This includes features like the ability to see the phone’s screen on a tablet and the Xiaomi Smart Hub, which serves as a single control center for all Xiaomi smart home appliances.
