Actor Shah Rukh Khan congratulated the teams behind Guneet Monga’s The Elephant Whisperers and SS Rajamouli’s RRR for representing India with pride at the 2023 Oscars. He congratulated them in a tweet.
Following their historic Oscars 2023 victories, the RRR and The Elephant Whisperers teams received praise from actor Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter. The Elephant Whisperers won the prize for Best Documentary Short Film while RRR’s song Naatu Naatu won for Best Original Music. Shah Rukh responded by praising both movies as “very motivating.”
The director of RRR is SS Rajamouli. With a group of Britishers, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR compete in the song Naatu Naatu, which became an international hit. Naatu Naatu is a song by MM Keeravani and Chandrabose with choreography by Prem Rakshith. Once the group received nominated for the Oscars earlier this year, Shah Rukh also sent the group his best wishes.
Others who sent their congrats to the filmmakers included Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut, and Vivek Agnihotri, among others. On March 12, the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles hosted the 95th Academy Awards ceremony.
