It seems that Honor, a manufacturer of smartphones, is developing its next generation of number series devices. The TRDA (Telecommunications and Digital Regulatory Authority) in the United Arab Emirates has certified a phone called the Honor 200 Lite, with model number LLY-NX1.
A few important insights are validated by this listing. To start, it officially states that Honor’s next series will simply be referred to as the “Honor 200 Series” and nothing else. Furthermore, it is probable that the lineup will feature a “Lite” model this time around.
There were only standard and pro models in the Honor 100 series when it was introduced in China in November 2023. It appears that the Honor 200 Lite is a recent model.
The Honor 200 Lite’s TRDA certification currently provides no additional information about its specifications. Future updates regarding the gadget and the Honor 200 series in general are probably in store.
Honor 100 Series Specifications
Let us briefly review the features of the Honor 100 series in the interim. Quad-curved OLED screens are a feature shared by the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro. However, the Honor 100 has a single punch-hole camera, while the Pro has a dual-lens setup that is shaped like a pill. Additionally unique are their rear camera modules.
Similar screen specifications are available for both phones: 6.7-inch (Honor 100) or 6.78-inch (Honor 100 Pro) OLED panels with high brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution. An in-screen fingerprint scanner manages security.
The 100 Pro is powered by the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the Honor 100 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
A 12MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS are featured on both phones. For optical zoom, the Pro model includes a 32MP telephoto camera.
Furthermore, the Pro is the only one that supports 66W wireless charging; the other model has 5,000mAh batteries with 100W fast charging. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, and more.
