The manufacturer of Nokia handsets, HMD Global, intends to bring back the iconic design of the Nokia Lumia 920 with the HMD Skyline. This move comes after the success of the successful rebirth of the legendary Nokia 3210.
HMD Skyline Technical Details
The HMD Skyline, also known as the Tomcat codename, may have a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display with PureDisplay HDR10+ technology. A Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC is said to power it.
With three cameras—a 108MP primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and perhaps a 2MP macro or depth sensor—the phone might have three cameras. An expected front camera for selfies is 32 megapixels.
Along with NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, IP67 dust and water resistance, and a 4900mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging, the smartphone may have these features.
According to pricing, the 8/256GB model will cost EUR 400 (about USD 429 or Rs. 35,917) and the 12/256GB version will cost EUR 440 (about USD 472 or Rs. 39,508).
Various Pipeline Devices
The HMD Atlas and HMD Ridge are two further devices that HMD Global is expected to release, in addition to the HMD Skyline, according to tipster HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60).
HMD Organizer
A 6.64′′ FullHD+ IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is said to be included in the HMD Atlas. It is anticipated to be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
There’s a chance that the phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, support Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and 5G. It might have a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, and a depth sensor. It might cost about USD 240 (about Rs. 20,054 in Indian rupees).
HMD Ridge
Specifications for the HMD Ridge include a 6.64′′ FHD+ 90Hz display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It may have a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie camera, powered by a Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC.
With 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery, storage possibilities might be between 128GB and 256GB.
Expect More from HMD
According to the tipster, HMD has more devices on the way, including HMD Waylay and HMD Xenon.
