HHRD

In emergencies and crises worldwide, HHRD is a multinational humanitarian relief and development agency responding to human suffering. They also focus on long-term relief and sustainability projects, in addition to their emergency relief efforts for natural or human-made disasters. HHRD was developed to fulfill the duty towards humanity irrespective of race, gender, ethnicity, class, location, religion, color, cultural diversity, and social context, with a specific emphasis on countries where many live below the poverty line.

The Syrian region has been marked with civil unrest, which has led to an unimaginable humanitarian crisis. Since the civil war started in March of 2011, more than 4.5 million Syrians have fled their country. Moreover,an estimated 85,000 Syrian refugee children are out of school in Jordan, and 250,000 Syrian refugee children are out of school in Lebanon. HHRD provides accommodation for Syrian refugee families in Jordan and Rohingya refugee families in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh, through its ‘Infrastructure Development Program.’ Both have endured tremendous challenges over the past few years and need the protection of shelter houses to live a quality life.

Their ‘Shelter Relief Programme’ aims to provide decent shelter for Syrian refugee families in Jordan, especially those living in remote locations or camps and widows with orphaned children. This program has allowed HHRD to provide micro-homes and establish an orphanage.Currently, the orphanage is home to 52 Syrian refugee widows and their children before moving to the local region. Through the “Caravans of Hope” initiative, the construction of Micro-Homes in Jordan has helped families secure a roof over their heads and protect themselves from different hazards.

HHRD’s Jordan office in the Middle East of North Africa (MENA), a licensed NGO in 2013, offers humanitarian aid to refugees in Lebanon and Jordan. Jordan. These Caravans of Hope serve as homes for families and as Learning Centers of Hope for the children growing up in these camps. This project serves as a shield for Syrian refugee families in Jordan, especially those in remote areas or barracks and widows with their orphan children.
