Google plans to add a new tool to its online shop that will allow customers to track and manage all of their Made by Google gadgets in one location. The Google Store website will soon provide a feature called “Your Devices,” which will let customers view important information about their Pixel phones, wearables, and other Google devices.
A Single Point of Contact for Pixel Owners
The company sells its branded goods on the Google Store, as opposed to the Google Play Store, which specializes in apps and digital content. With the launch of the ‘Your Devices’ page, Pixel owners will soon have a special area to access important device data, such as warranty coverage, model specifications, and purchase history.
Google has already released a support page detailing the features of the website, even if it is not yet operational. This implies that the functionality, which offers a simplified method of tracking and managing Google gadgets, may be released soon.
Motivated by the ‘Your Devices’ feature on Apple?
Given that the Apple Store already has a comparable “Your Devices” area connected to Apple IDs, Apple users would recognize this new addition. Similar functionality will be provided by Google’s version, which will display all Made by Google gadgets linked to a user’s Google account.
Not every Google device will be included automatically, though. For example, products bought from sources other than the Google Store, like Google Pixel Buds, could not show up by default. Users will be able to manually add these devices by inputting their serial number or IMEI.
All-inclusive Repair and Support Options
The ‘Your Devices’ page will function as a one-stop customer service center in addition to device tracking. Users will have the ability to:
- View articles on device-specific assistance and troubleshooting.
- Start the repair request process
- Control the subscriptions connected to their gadgets.
- Speak with Google support directly.
The functionality is probably going to launch shortly because there is an official support page. Device administration is now easier than ever thanks to the advent of store.google.com/my-devices, which Pixel owners may access.
