Google Revives The Weather Map in Pixel

Google Revives The Weather Map in Pixel

A 6-hour precipitation forecast for the “US, UK, and most EU countries excluding Italy and Luxembourg” is displayed on the weather map.

The card might be tapped to provide a fullscreen view even in the absence of any precipitation. With a play/pause button and a 6-hour timeline at the bottom, the map takes up the most of the screen. The same technology that powers Google Nowcast powers this weather map.

You can drag the map to the desired location, just like you can with the other pieces.

The Pixel Weather map is no longer visible to users as of right now, and the card is completely absent from the city view. It has disappeared from every site, including those where it is pouring, therefore it is most likely not a change in habit.

AI weather report, hourly forecast, 10-day forecast, precipitation, wind, sunrise and sunset, UV index, air quality, visibility, humidity, and pressure are all still accessible.

As of Pixel Weather version 1.0.20250127.729684887, it is absent; this is likely due to a server-side modification. It affects all Pixel tablets and phones.
