Google Pixel Will Shortly Receive The Android 15 QPR1 Beta

The last preview release before a stable launch is Android 15 Beta 4.2. For the December Quarterly Platform Release (QPR1) of Android 15, Google is now getting testers ready.

According to Google, QPR1 “features the most recent bug fixes and enhancements to stability and performance and works on top of the Android 15 platform release.” There will soon be more information available.

With today’s news, testers will have an opportunity to withdraw from the Android Beta Program prior to QPR1 commencing. To be more precise, in order to obtain the “final stable public Android 15 release,” one must:

Remove yourself from the program

Ignore or disregard the downgrade OTA update, and hold off until the next Android 15 (AP3A) final public stable release. “Downgrade” will appear in the message’s description via OTA. As long as the downgrade OTA update is not applied, opting out won’t result in a data wipe.
Opting out will cause a data wipe once Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1 is loaded on your device.

You will soon receive Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1 if you continue with the Android Beta Program. QPRs are, nevertheless, comparatively stable.

It appears that Android 15 will become stable in September at current time.
