Google is adding a memory for your favorite items to Gemini AI

Google is improving the memory and creative capabilities of its AI systems to give users more creative and personalized experiences. Similar to the ChatGPT memory, the first update allows the Gemini AI assistant to store and retrieve information about you, including your preferences and dislikes.

For more imaginative endeavors, Android Authority has discovered code suggesting that Google Keep, a note-taking app, would soon be able to employ AI to transform your scrawls and sketches into schematics and artwork that looks professional.

You can provide Gemini’s AI with information about their aims, interests, and background. Additionally, you may use the “Saved Info” page or ask Gemini to remember your hobbies throughout a discussion to teach it about them. You may also edit and remove details from the page. Gemini will even alert you if it utilizes any of the data on that page.

If you desire Gemini’s assistance on a project that requires multiple conversations, the function tries to cut out the need for repeated explanations. According to Google, this simplification could help writers, students, app developers, and others. The memory capability is now limited to English, and Gemini Advanced requires a Google One AI Premium Plan subscription. Below, you can see how it operates.

Although Google Keep isn’t available yet, the code that was discovered indicates that you will be able to upload or draw right into the app and then ask the AI to “help me draw.” The AI will turn rough sketches into final pieces of art in any style you like, including vector, pencil, and ink drawings.

The AI can basically distinguish between what you type and what you draw, then interpret the information appropriately. Additionally, the code makes reference to a straight AI image maker designed especially for converting words into a picture that may have been drawn in Google Keep. Although there is no formal date for the rollout, the code’s current status indicates that it will happen soon.

Both features focus on making access to and interaction with AI easier, despite their clear distinctions. Gemini, keep in mind your preferred genres for Google or suggested reading. Continue turning your drawings into Dali; the features are there to help you get closer to achieving your objectives and achieving what you want the AI to achieve for you.
